The Accident (The Key of the Tower)

On a stormy night in Northern France two cars are driving towards one another, down a long straight road, lined with tall trees. The rain is torrential. The cars are getting closer and closer. Suddenly lightning strikes and a tree falls, blocking the road. The two cars screech to a halt on either side of the fallen tree.

The trunk is blocking the route of English tourist Guy Lantern. On the other side of the fallen tree trunk is a beautiful silver Rolls Royce and an irate Frenchman, the famous art dealer Jean-Marc Cheret. He has to get to England to conclude a major deal, and now the road is blocked and he will miss the last ferry. Unless...

Unless the two men swap cars.

This fast moving Hitchcockian thriller follows Guy Lantern as his life becomes entangled with Monsieur Cheret and his beautiful and seductive wife Béa. A twisting plot set against the beautiful locations of Northern Brittany, including picturesque Saint Malo and the legendary island of Mont Saint Michel.
